1. Presentation Format
    • Dimensions: A1 portrait orientation
    • Language: All posters should be presented in English
    • Style: Aim for clarity and accessibility; please avoid jargon where possible and explain technical terms
  2. Design Recommendations
    • Title: Use a large, clear title with author names and affiliations
    • Layout: Organise content into logical sections (e.g., Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion)
    • Fonts: Use legible fonts (minimum 24pt for body text)
    • Visuals: Prioritise figures, diagrams, and images over dense text
    • Accessibility
      • Use high-contrast colours and avoid red-green combinations
      • Fonts: Use large, legible fonts; sans-serif fonts like Arial or Calibri are recommended
    • Content
      • Acknowledge collaborators and funding sources appropriately
      • Include an ethics statement
      • Avoid excessive text; use visuals to support your narrative
  3. Presentation & Timing
    • Presence: At least one author must be present during the assigned poster session (usually the first author)
    • Engagement: Be prepared to give a brief overview and answer questions
    • Setup: Posters must be mounted before the session begins and removed promptly afterwards
