- Dimensions: A1 portrait orientation
- Language: All posters should be presented in English
- Style: Aim for clarity and accessibility; please avoid jargon where possible and explain technical terms
- Design Recommendations
- Title: Use a large, clear title with author names and affiliations
- Layout: Organise content into logical sections (e.g., Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion)
- Fonts: Use legible fonts (minimum 24pt for body text)
- Visuals: Prioritise figures, diagrams, and images over dense text
- Accessibility
- Use high-contrast colours and avoid red-green combinations
- Fonts: Use large, legible fonts; sans-serif fonts like Arial or Calibri are recommended
- Content
- Acknowledge collaborators and funding sources appropriately
- Include an ethics statement
- Avoid excessive text; use visuals to support your narrative
- Presentation & Timing
- Presence: At least one author must be present during the assigned poster session (usually the first author)
- Engagement: Be prepared to give a brief overview and answer questions
- Setup: Posters must be mounted before the session begins and removed promptly afterwards
